Ceramic Pitcher - Glazed

Description

Well, here's my ceramic pitcher all glazed and, as you can see, in one piece! Hooray! It survived the kiln!

The best news is that is successfully pours! Which actually is more complicated than you would think until you try making a pitcher or teapot yourself. The placement, size, shape, and angle of the spout will have a great impact on how well it pours. Mess up and the contents could rush out too fast, too slow, or bypass the spout completely and spill out the top. I took an extra precaution on my spout by attaching a cap, closing it off more to better direct the flow.

I'm quite happy with how it came out! :D

Here's what the pitcher looked like when it was greenware.

heehee! It's cute! ^___^ I really love those squares. Congrats on its an your success! I was absolutely devastated when I heard that a sculpture of mine had been smashed by a flying piece of another person's sculpture (it exploded in the kiln). So super congrats on its survival! XD
