Just in time for pie

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 22, 2009, 12:51 PM
Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd take a moment and wish everyone an early Happy Thanksgiving (for those who may celebrate it this coming week).

As most of us know, Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for anyone or anything that you have in life. Be it from ice cream, to books, to significant other, or family.

Although there is a lot that I'm thankful for, I'm just happy to not be sick anymore!

YAY! 8D

For the past week I have been basically restricted to either my bed or the couch because I caught H1N1.

It started out with a cough, then turned into a nasty cough (my ribs and diaphragm were sore), my body aching all over, headaches all day, sinus trouble, loss of appetite (I lost five pounds! @__@), and a fever that couldn't decided if it was staying or leaving. Hmm... reminds me of Edward Cullen. ZING!

Well, I have my sense of humor back, so you can tell I'm on the road to recovery.

But yeah, being sick really took a good chunk out of me, so to the people I normally chat with, that's why I disappeared. I was able to get online a few times, but couldn't do much in terms of conversation.

I'm just so happy that I was able to beat this sickness just in time for Thanksgiving. I would have hated to have missed family time on account of being ill.

Hope everyone is doing well, and again, Happy Thanksgiving!
